What are the next steps after I submit an application?

  1. Notification of Availability

    We will begin contacting families on March 15th if there is space available for your student.

  2. Confirm Interest & Schedule Assessment

    If space is available, you will confirm your interest in enrolling and schedule a placement assessment. At this time, the non-refundable application & assessment fee is due, which covers testing, application paperwork, and the registration fee to reserve your child’s spot.

  3. Placement Testing

    All new students participate in placement testing to determine their academic and behavioral readiness for our program. Testing typically takes 60–120 minutes and helps our teachers identify the grade and program in which each student will be most successful.

  4. Parent Interview
    Families participate in a parent interview with PPA administrators. This allows us to discuss the family’s ability to support co-teaching, alignment with our classical education philosophy, educational priorities, and the family’s application documents. It also ensures a good fit between Parnassus Preparatory Academy and prospective families.

  5. Notification of Acceptance

    Accepted students will be notified beginning April 15th. Families will then receive an enrollment packet with additional information to complete the registration process.
