Withdrawal Policy
Enrollment at Parnassus Preparatory Academy is for the full academic year. Participation fees represent semester tuition and may be structured as scheduled installments for convenience; they are not based on attendance or monthly enrollment.
Because the academy makes annual commitments for staffing, facilities, and programming, participation fees are not refunded or canceled due to absence, schedule changes, withdrawal, or removal from the program.
If a family needs to withdraw, written notice and submission of the official Withdrawal Form are required. Students remain enrolled and financially responsible until this process is complete.
Participation fee responsibility is based on the date written notice is received and follows the semester schedule below:
Semester 1 (Fall):
On or before August 1: 0% of semester participation fees owed
August 1 – August 31: 50% of semester participation fees owed
September 1 – September 30: 75% of semester participation fees owed
October 1 and after: 100% of semester participation fees owed
Semester 2 (Spring):
On or before December 15: 0% of semester participation fees owed
December 16 – January 15: 50% of semester participation fees owed
January 16 – February 15: 75% of semester participation fees owed
February 16 and after: 100% of semester participation fees owed
Families remain responsible for any outstanding balances, including amounts not covered by charter school funding.
The academy reserves the right to remove a student from the program if a family is unable to comply with program policies or expectations. In such cases, all financial obligations remain in accordance with the withdrawal & participation fee agreement.
